When this knife was first being offered in the marketplace, a recognized authority in the realm of personal defense, Master at Arms James Keating from Washington State, USA created and introduced a system of practical techniques for personal protection using this knife. These are very sturdy folding knives suitable for general practical field use. They have a strong stainless steel clip (reversible - can be switched to other side for lefties) for belt or pocket carry, excellent edge holding and ductility (toughness). Each knife has the Spyderco logo on one side of the blade and the Adi Shakti / Khanda symbol with the name Jot Singh Khalsa on the opposite side.
